Most websites hide their data so they can use it for sneaky marketing and SEO purposes – but not Kpopalypse.com, which has no advertising and shares all site information publicly so nerds can enjoy being geeky! This means it’s time for the annual Kpopalypse statistics post! Let’s get into it!

Let’s get the ball rolling with our yearly viewcount! Years on the left, views on the right.

Ever since the site’s peak in 2018, the site has been on the way down in views, but that trend reversed in 2025, which was actually a slightly more popular year than 2024! Note that the 2025 view figure isn’t accurate because unlike previous years it does not take into account the impact of the extremely popular end-of-year lists so the final total will be slightly higher than what you see here. I think that’s not a bad effort especially since Google’s new AI search tends to scrape the goodies off websites and present them so you don’t actually need to go clicking them yourself, something which was resulted in a downward trend in all website results globally in recent years.
What countries visited Kpopalypse.com the most? Here’s all the countries that clicked on the website more than a thousand times this year!

If you live in one of these countries, thank you for your support! Here’s the countries which performed the worst this year:

These countries here definitely need to lift their game. I’m not emailing back about that orphan prince from Burnika Faso who died with a $7m fortune that someone wants to split with me 70/30 until that country gets their shit together and clicks my stuff more than once per year.
Oh, and new exciting feature – I can break down my visits by city now! Let’s take a look at the cities where Kpopalypse is biggest!

Gosh, Singapore is smashing it! So which sites brought the most traffic to Kpopalypse this year?

Gosh, fark.com really shot up this year, not sure why that is, maybe it’s because people over there got a bit buttmad because I called their site a Reddit clone, which to be fair is probably a bit insulting, let’s be honest. I have no idea what their site is really like because it’s mostly paywalled like your mum’s bedroom, but I should be nicer to them because at least one kind person over there is probably talking about me a bit somewhere behind that paywall, even if it’s only to say “what a cunt”. Also it’s good to see I’m making friends with ChatGPT. Hey maybe it knows a bit about this fark business?

Oh my god it wrote me like ten fucking pages.

Okay, so maybe it can clear up why I get traffic from soccersuck.com?

Wait what the fuck.

I don’t actually believe this shit. I quizzed ChatGPT some more and it insisted this was true, but fucked if I could figure out how to access an English-language soccersuck.com full of Australian cunts. If anyone has ever seen this so-called Australian site let me know how to get on it, but I think it’s all bullshit and our AI friend has been absorbing more halluciogens than my cat.
Right, so that’s that. Now, what search terms brought people to Kpopalypse the most in 2025? Can you guess? Well, you’re going to have to, because WordPress REMOVED the search terms collector! I couldn’t make another Chuu-bot now even if Elon stopped being a dick about API integration. End of an era. EDIT: wait, I found it, but it was seriously buried. And it works a little differently now, breaking things down into keywords. So what’s the most popular keyword phrases for searches that bring people to Kpopalypse?

Gosh. So let’s move onto the most popular posts of the year:

I’m sorry that the text is small here but if you’re having trouble reading it, it basically says “people click boobies”. Hey maybe the most popular tags and categories will reveal something extra:

…or not. Note that once again “nugu alert” doesn’t even make the list.
What social networks do people share Kpopalypse content on the most?

I’m not sure what I expected, but I definitely didn’t expect Facebook to be the top here given that I’m not even on it.
Now, where does Kpopalypse send most readers to, via links? Keep in mind that even though I get asked to do “backlink deals” on an almost daily basis, Kpopalypse does not work with sponsors of any kind and all links are organically selected by me in order to annoy you. The most popular sites were:

Gosh Asian Junkie still scoring those free backlinks even though his site is as dead as [insert some sportball team he likes here]. I should be so lucky. Oh wait, I already am, I link to myself all the time! That’s very smart of me.
Let’s finish up with the most popular blind YouTube links that I’ve served to you, the lovely readers. You clicked these links the most, not knowing where you were going, but probably hoping it was somewhere nice. I admire your bravery and determination to follow these links!
