Advisory on SRI and Gratuity Pay Payout
The Department of Education released an advisory on the conduct of the payout for the fiscal year 2022 Service Recognition Incentives(SRI) and Gratuity Pay.
DepEd shall provide a one-time SRI at a uniform rate of Fifteen Thousand Pesos(Php 15,000) per eligible employee. Such SRI will be paid through cash to the qualified DepEd employees starting from December 20,2022 until January 6, 2022.
Meanwhile, for the contract service workers, Deped authorized the grant of a one-time Gratuity Pay not exceeding Five Thousand Pesos(Php 5,000) per eligible worker.
DepEd officials and employees are ordered to request police assistance whenever necessary to ensure safe and orderly distribution of SRI and Gratuity Pay.
