Basahin ang Guidelines on Proportional Vacation Pay sa ibaba:

Proportional Vacation Pay (PVP) refers to compensation of teaching personnel during Christmas and summer vacation computed in proportion to the number of days they have served during the school year.

 To be entitled to full payment of Proportional Vacation Pay, teachers should have rendered continuous services for the School Year.

But, teachers may still be required to report on days without classes in the exigency of public service. Equivalent service credits, shall be given to teachers require to report to work, in accordance with DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003.

In such cases, requests to require the attendance of public school teachers during vacation must satisfy the following conditions:

1. A letter-request is submitted by their school head to his/her respective SDO;

2. Sufficient justification is provided to establish that exigency of public service exists; and

3. The request is duly approved by the School Division Superintendent(SDS).
