K-12 curriculum too congested
Department of Education Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan said the K to 12 curriculum was too ‘congested’.
This was one of the issues brought by DepEd as it assess basic education curriculum under the launched Basic Education Development Plan 2030.
Malaluan said BEDP 2030 goal is to solve the problem on having a quality education.
Education Secretary Leonor Briones earlier said BEDP 2030 was created to address the root cause of problems on quality, close the access gaps, sustain and enhance relevant programs, and introduce innovations in education.
