F2F classes vital for student’s well-being
Participating face-to-face classes is necessary for the mental and social development of students, the Department of Health said.
DOH said that physical classes allow children to develop their cognitive and social skills.
“F2F promotes physical and mental health and well-being. This is based on the latest scientific evidence,” the DOH said.
The department said that the risk of acquiring Covid19 in school is reduced when teachers, learners are vaccinated and boosted.
Following health and safety protocols such as wearing of mask, regular washing of hands, social distancing and proper ventilation in classrooms can lessen the spread of Covid19 in schools.
“Let’s give our children the education and learning development they need and deserve this coming school year by providing the best education and protection,” the DOH said.
