World of Warcraft Classic is getting a refresh with new quality of life upgrades with Season of Mastery and players can now try these out during the open beta.
Starting October 5, players can experience WoW Classic Season of Mastery which now offers faster phase unlocking, faster leveling, more difficult raid bosses, and other quality of life changes.
Phases are spread out over the year with unlocks planned every few months. Phase 1, which will be available at launch, includes Molten Core, Onyxia, Maraudon, and a PvP Honor System. Players can also look forward to Scourge Invasions, Green Dragons, and other content in future updates.
With patch 1.12 in place, player power has been increased. Season of Mastery matches this by tuning raid bosses and making them more difficult than before. Changes include world buffs, no boss debuff limit, increased health, and more.
As for leveling, players can expect rates XP rates to be close to Burning Crusade Classic while quality of life upgrades include meeting stones converted to summoning stones and increased mining and herbalism nodes.
