Stargirl season 2 to make its way to HBO GO

Season two of the superhero series Stargirl is set to arrive soon on HBO GO.

First premiered on August 10 on The CW, the DC series’ newest season will soon make its way to the streaming platform where the full first season already lives.

Based on the character created by Geoff Johns and Lee Moder, Stargirl follows the story of Courtney Whitmore, played by Brec Bassinger, who chances upon a cosmic staff and is bestowed with new powers. A new version of the Justice Society is formed with Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) as Courtney’s mentor.

The second season works to continue the stories from the first season including Solomon Grundy’s escape to the ISA, Brainwave’s death, and the mysterious pink pen found at the JSA.

We can also expect John Wesly Shipp’s The Flash in later episodes.
